Homemade Salsa

a KICK in the MOUTH delicous!
Ingredients
- 1/2 Tsp Cumin
- 1 Tsp Coarse Salt
- 1/2 Tsp Coarse Black Pepper
- 3 Medium Jalapeno You can remove the seeds if you prefer less spicy
- 2 Medium Serrano You can remove the seeds if you prefer
- 5 Cloves Garlic Boiling
- 3 Roma Tomatoes CHARRING these
- 1/4 Large Red Onion Boiling
- 1/2 Small White Onion CHARRING these
- 1/2 Bunch Cilantro Remove the stems
- 1/2 Large Red Bell Pepper Boiling
- 1 Large Lime
- 2 TBSP Vegetable oil
Instructions
- We were able to use some produce that was getting old JUST in time!
- Boil Jalapeno, Serrano, Red Onion, Bell Pepper and Garlic until tender
BE sure to allow these to cool before Blending
Reserve 1 Cup of this liquid for later
- Add oil to HOT Cast Iron Skillet and char your White Onion and Tomato
- Combine all ingredients and blend well OR you can use use your emulisifuer
In goes the Cilantro, seasonings and Lime juice
- If needed you may want add in some of the reserved water to thin it out some and make it go a little further.
- Grab your favorite tortilla chip and disfrutar Enjoy!)
