Question: What’s better than a BIG ol bowl of warm spicy Chili when its cold outside?
Answer: A Bowl of THAT CHILI plus HOMEMADE Cheddar Jalapeño Bread on the side! (this recipe will come later)
Chili is NEVER HARD to make….just throw it all in the POT and let her go….Low and Slowwww…

ONE POT STOP! Grab your favorite TOPPINGS....Bread OR Crackers!
Ingredients
- 2 LBS Ground Beef Or Turkey
- 1 Med Onion Chopped
- 1 Lg Jalapeno Chopped
- 2 Tbsp Garlic Chopped/Minced
- 2 Tbsp Cooking Oil
- 1 14 oz Crushed Tomatoes
- 1 15 oz Tri Bean Blend any beans you like
- 6 oz Tomato Paste (make sure you cook it)
- 2 14.5 oz Water
- 1 Bottle Dark Beer OR 1 CUP of Red Wine
- 1 Tbsp Smoked Paprika
- 1 Tbsp Cayenne Pepper
- 1 Tbsp Ground Cumin
- 1 Tbsp Oregano
- 2 oz Chili Power
- Coarse Salt to Taste
Instructions
- Heat Oil in Large Dutch Oven
- Sautee Onion and Jalapeno
- Add in Garlic
- Add in Meat and Brown
(I would drain Depending on the Fat Content)%
- Add in tomato paste and make sure you cook it because if you don't, it tends to be SOUR.
- Add seasonings
- Add Beans
- Add crushed Tomatoes
- Add Water
- Add Booze
- Bring to a boil
- Reduce and Simmer
approximately 30-45 mins
- Serve and TOP!
